One of the most common rookie mistakes I see when editing or reviewing an author’s work is what I call “fun with fonts.” Trust me, having too much fun with fonts will scream “rookie” and “unprofessional.” Your goal is to choose a font that is easy to read. To use many different fonts gives your finished book an uneven look and makes your reader’s (and editor’s) job harder.
